COMMUNITY MOSAICS & ARCHITECTURAL APPLICATIONS

This is a course that results in creating a large scale mosaic that is ultimately donated to a worthy cause or not-for-profit business in the ACT or surrounding region. Each project is dependant on the community we would be working with and what their needs may be. Usually around an eight to ten day course, depending on the size of the project. The timeline is determined before the project starts. Projects are commonly murals and floor installations, but are certainly not limited to this. Mosaics may be made on mesh or direct or a combination of both.
Some mosaic experience necessary. Students are encouraged to sign up to Mosaic 101 or Mosaic 201 prior to taking this class.

Where: Fabrication takes place in Kim's studio in Canberra, Australia. Installation on site in and around Canberra.
When: TBA
Cost: $650 + $125 materials fee
