Glass on Glass Mosaics SEPT 28-29 2024

Service Description

This two day intensive workshop is an exciting sub section of the mosaic medium allowing for privacy without compromising on light or heading down the road of traditional lead lighting. Choosing glass, cutting glass, specific adhesives for glass on glass (GOG) mosaics and substrates are all discussed in detail in this class. Grouting is not covered in this workshop, though we do briefly discuss this so participants will have to feel comfortable doing this in their own time. Students receive handouts with information covered in class and will make a ~25m sq study piece suitable for outdoor purposes to take home. No art or mosaic experience necessary! Please bring lunch. Please note there is a materials fee of $65 payable on completion of the workshop.
